The Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Science (BNYS) is a comprehensive 5.5-year undergraduate degree program that focuses on holistic health and wellness through naturopathy and yogic sciences. Duration & Eligibility

5.5 years (4.5 years academics + 1 year internship)

Candidates generally need to have completed their 10+2 (or equivalent) with a science stream, including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, from a recognized board.

Some institutions may require candidates to take the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). However, many colleges also accept admissions based on merit (10+2 or equivalent) or may conduct their own entrance exams.

  • Karnataka: The Karnataka State Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy Common Entrance Test (KAYNCET) is used for BNYS admissions in Karnataka.
  • Tamil Nadu: The Tamil Nadu government may use NEET scores for admissions, but also considers the merit of candidates from 10+2 (or equivalent).
  • Maharashtra: The State Common Entrance Test Cell conducts admissions for BNYS in Maharashtra, requiring candidates to have passed HSC (Science) and appear for NEET.
